Kinnikinnick Foods has updated food recall warning, which was issued on 15 January 2014, by including additional codes to its brands that contain milk which is not declared on the label.
The additional information was identified during a food safety investigation conducted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
According to CFIA, people with an allergy to milk should not consume the recalled products as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
Kinnikinnick's recalled food products with additional codes include Original Homestyle Waffles (all codes up to and including 2014AU10, 20140810 or 140810); Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Homestyle Waffles (all codes up to and including 2014AU11, 20140811 or 140811); and Kinni-Kwik Bread & Bun Mix (all codes up to and including 2014DE19, 20141219 or 141219).
The recalled products also include Pancake & Waffle Mix (all codes up to and including 2015JA06, 20150106 or 150106); and Panko Style Bread Crumbs (all codes up to and including 2014AU09, 20140809 or 140809).
